Anderson Cooper first came to my attention when he reported from Katrina literally holding on to a palm tree to prevent being swept away. That earned my respect, even as I laughed at him. While it's funny to watch these coddled media celebrities battle the hurricane, we should indeed remember that they are actually risking their lives.
