Here's a couple that I posted to my blog over the past few days, but I think they deserve a wider audience, so I'm passing them along to you and making them available in this space.

The YouTube is part one of a show divided into seven YouTubes, most of which are around seven minutes long.

It's an episode of Piers Morgan's ITV show from last January, where he does a "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous" type treatment of Dubai and he even gets superficially into the culture and problems before the end.

The other is embeddable via the code on the player, though you'd probably want to put it within a DIV tag with the a CSS height of 324px and a width of 397px. Otherwise, the page load will want to resize the box because it's not defined in the available code.

If I could embed it here, I would, but it's not a YouTube, it's from a Charlottesville television station and it's film of their embattled UVa Football coach reciting a poem at a press conference, when he's asked about his future with the team.

Again, it's not a YouTube, so I don't think I can embed from here and because I'll have to submit it via a link to somewhere, I'm pointing it toward my post

I hope you understand and will forgive me because it's so cute, you may want to embed it onto the front page.

@Magister: PS) If we can embed non-YouTubes with the regular embed code, I hope you'll let us know

Das Racist celebrates Thanksgiving with canned bodega food served up by a former Gourmet-staffer. None of it looks edible, but the long-haired guy seems to think it's almost good. I seem to think he's high.

This song is inexplicably described as "A Very Good song," which must be some kind of clever eastern European slang for "The best song ever created for an English speaking audience by people who don't know any English."

"What's up, youtube, it's OcarinaSoulFlame2055." How this can be considered a bassoon is beyond me, but this kid's like 13 and he made it out of junk he taped together, so who cares? People bust on him in the comments -- on top of the fact that he openly admits to it sounding like shit -- but I think he seems okay. If nothing else he could probably get a job making obnoxious horns for Scania trucks.

All of this guy's videos are of the various noisemakers he owns (of which there are tons), sitting around, making noise, which is I guess all they were designed for so I can't complain. The greatest thing, though, is that Federal3t22 describes himself as both a "birdwatcher" and a "fire alarm and siren enthusiast." I somehow doubt he ever has the opportunity to combine those two passions.

Additionally, his favorites are as follows:

Movies:
that's for me to know and you not to find out
Music:
nothing you'd like
Books:
anything with pages

From the research I've done, I'm pretty sure that Big Mike is the foremost authority on huge, loud horns. I'd never heard of an Ibuki Air Horn before watching this video, but I find myself needing one now. I just wish he'd give us the beat to The Hustle, or at least a nice shave-and-a-haircut.

This, however, is Heita3's strongest performance. I'm not sure how it qualifies as an instrument, but it's really inspiring the way he gets into it.

Heita3 is something of a vegetable virtuoso. He's also the most animated speaker I've ever seen, and I've taken a Dale Carnegie course. This one is my favorite song.

The benefits of Scania trucks:

1) quality transport
2) loud
3) very loud
