From the underground comic by Ben Edlund, this FOX Saturday morning cartoon was for precocious kids and everyone that can appreciate the deepest realities of superhero parody.
"It's a clown." It sure is Tick. This episode includes a reference to Stephen Kings horrific movie about clowns, explores the protagonist's subconscious, and utilizes the word "existential." It's a cartoon that may have been popular with kids, but it never strayed from it's roots as the preeminent comic book satire.
